Case Study: Hollingsworth & Vose reduces manufacturing energy costs with VEIC

A VEIC Case Study

Hollingsworth & Vose cuts electricity use 15.5% with VEIC

Global manufacturer Hollingsworth & Vose (H&V) wanted to reduce the energy intensity of its manufacturing processes without compromising product quality. They partnered with vendor VEIC to meet this challenge, leveraging VEIC's expertise in energy-management programs.

VEIC implemented a Strategic Energy Management program and an Energy Treasure Hunt pilot at H&V's New York facilities. These no- and low-cost initiatives identified behavioral and operational changes, such as adjusting steam pressure settings and shutting down idle equipment. As a result, VEIC helped H&V achieve significant savings of 15.5% in electricity and 13.3% in natural gas, leading to a reduced carbon footprint and lower operational costs.
