The customer, UNICEF, faced the challenge of removing communication barriers for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community in Serbia, particularly children, by creating a free Serbian Sign Language learning app. They partnered with vendor Vega IT and its dedicated development team to build this scalable, end-to-end digital solution from the ground up.

Vega IT developed a mobile application for both Android and iOS using React Native, which included gamification and a back office for easy content management. The solution resulted in an award-winning app with over 1,000 downloads, promoting social inclusion and breaking down communication barriers.
