Serviceplan Group, Europe’s largest owner- and partner-managed marketing agency with ~4,000 employees across 24 locations, faced a growing challenge: while moving collaboration and mail to Microsoft Office 365, they needed reliable, long-term protection and e-discovery for project and customer data across a 2PB Hyper-V environment. Building on their use of Veeam Backup & Replication, Serviceplan implemented Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 to back up Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams to their own data center. The rollout was quick for 4,000 users, enables fast granular restores, and cut backup storage costs by about 70%, saving several hundred thousand euros over five years while ensuring reliable protection and compliance.
