Veeam Reseller becomes Veeam Cloud Provider to Capitalise on Customer Demand for Cloud Backup and DR

Computer & Network Solutions (CNS), a New Zealand–and–Australia managed services firm and longtime Veeam reseller, faced rising customer demand for offsite backup and disaster recovery as clients sought 24x7 availability. CNS needed to grow its cloud practice, attract qualified customers for offsite repositories, and eliminate the complexity and heavy support burden of its previous backup tool.

CNS became a Veeam Cloud Provider using Veeam Cloud Connect, which provides SSL-secure, multi-tenant backups without VPNs and integrates customer cloud repositories directly into their backup consoles. The solution let CNS launch BaaS and DRaaS with faster recoveries (minutes RTPO), lower storage and operating costs, simpler support, and new recurring revenue—highlighted by a recovery of 2,000 files in two hours after a CryptoLocker attack.
