Veeam Protects Data that Fuels Non-Stop Events at Dubai World Trade Centre

The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), a major events and exhibitions complex serving over 2 million visitors annually, was running a VMware vSphere environment that outgrew its legacy backup and monitoring tools. The existing solution couldn’t back up all virtual machines daily or meet recovery point and time objectives, and provided insufficient visibility for proactive issue detection and capacity planning.

DWTC implemented Veeam Availability Suite to protect its entire virtual environment, enabling daily and ad hoc backups, faster recoveries with Instant VM Recovery, and centralized monitoring. Built-in deduplication and compression cut backup storage needs by about 50%, recovery times were reduced to minutes, recovery point frequency increased, and improved monitoring delivered better performance management and capacity planning.
