Veeam on IBM Cloud helps Movius advance the mobile agenda for global enterprises

Movius is a global provider of secure, cloud‑based mobile communications whose MultiLine™ solution adds a separate corporate number to employees’ personal smartphones. To launch MultiLine worldwide the company had to move from on‑premises infrastructure to a cloud platform with broad data‑center coverage while meeting strict data availability and regulatory requirements for voice and messaging retention (MiFID II, HIPAA, GDPR).

By running on IBM Cloud with Veeam Cloud Data Management, Movius implemented encrypted backup and replication for 80 VMs (50 TB), met RTO/RPO targets of 15 minutes or less, and standardized business continuity and disaster recovery. The combination enabled international rollout to major banks and healthcare customers, simplified compliance, and cut data‑protection costs by about $75,000 per year.
