Hertz Israel, a longtime franchise operating 19 locations and renting more than 500,000 vehicles annually, relied on SQL Server and Oracle–based CRM, ERP and web systems to serve customers. Their legacy backup was slow, unreliable and lacked granular recovery and an integrated disaster-recovery capability, creating risk to availability, customer satisfaction and revenue.

Hertz implemented Veeam Backup & Replication to replace the old backup and SRM workflows, protecting 30 TB across 100 VMware VMs and enabling fast failover/failback for DR. Backups are 83% faster and recoveries 92% faster, with Veeam Explorers for SQL and Oracle for granular restores; the move saved about 500 hours of backup management time and roughly 25% in annual IT costs.
