The company needed disk-based, agentless backups to eliminate tape handling and reduce load on its VMware environment while ensuring fast, reliable recovery to support around-the-clock manufacturing.

American Standard deployed Veeam Backup & Replication with ExaGrid disk-based backup appliances across two data centers to protect 176 VMs and 10 TB of data. The solution cut the backup window from ~24 hours to six hours, combined deduplication and compression to shrink 10 TB to 3 TB, eliminated annual tape costs, delivered 75% faster backups, and provides rapid restores and scalable growth without lengthening backup windows.
