Calan expanded Veeam Backup & Replication and used Veeam Cloud Tier to tier backups to Amazon S3 (with a second on‑prem copy), enabling the 3-2-1-1-0 best practice and fast restores to Salt Lake City or Amazon EC2. The solution protects ~800 GB across 60 VMs, strengthens DR and business continuity, eliminates the colocation expense (saving $22K/year) and funded a new S3 data lake for predictive analytics.
