Prefeitura de Itaúna, the municipal government of a city of about 96,000 in Minas Gerais, faced an aging desktop estate, ad hoc backups, a tight IT budget and new Brazilian data‑privacy requirements (LGPD) while needing to protect critical public services from escalating cyberthreats.
