ODTH First Class Logistics picks and ships more than 50,000 customer boxes daily with Veeam

ODTH First Class Logistics is a Belgium-based multimodal logistics provider operating six sites and robotized warehouses (the “Magic Black Box”) that support up to 1,872 pallets and prepare as many as 52 customer loads. Handling more than 60 containers, 215 trucks and over 50,000 picked boxes a day, ODTH depends on always-on IT—including SAP S/4HANA—and needed to protect business‑critical systems and recover services rapidly to avoid costly, downstream disruptions for its customers.

For more than a decade ODTH has used Veeam Backup & Replication across seven physical servers to protect roughly 80 virtual machines (Windows, SUSE and a large RHEL-based SAP HANA landscape), employ 3-2-1-1-0 best practices, replicate between data centers and tailor backup cadences from every 15 minutes to weekly by system criticality. The result: uninterrupted warehouse operations (>50,000 boxes picked daily), easier management of sophisticated backup regimes and reliable, fast recovery that keeps customers’ logistics processes running smoothly.
