Haven of Hope Christian Service (HOHCS) is a Hong Kong not‑for‑profit providing medical and social services across more than 50 facilities with ~1,000 staff. As their environment grew to 90% virtualised and data rose from 100TB to 300TB, the legacy backup tool—limited to onsite backups, no replication, no granular restores, no automated verification and poor monitoring—left them vulnerable to data‑centre outages and slow, risky recoveries.

HOHCS implemented Veeam Availability Suite to add offsite backups, VM replication, verified recoverability and advanced monitoring and reporting. Backup windows were cut in half (daily incrementals 6→3 hours; weekly fulls 48→24), Exchange items can be recovered in minutes, SureBackup/Virtual Lab verify backups, and capacity planning dashboards provide full visibility—enabling HOHCS to recover critical systems within four hours.
