Mundo Cuervo is a major tourist complex in Tequila, Jalisco — with hotels, restaurants, a museum and the José Cuervo Express train — serving up to 2,500 simultaneous visitors on peak weekends and generating 6 TB of business data daily. As the business expanded, IT needed to ensure high availability for online sales and reservations, fast recoveries (targeting under 2 hours) and seamless service for guests without visible disruption.

Since 2017 Mundo Cuervo deployed Veeam (Backup & Replication, Backup for Microsoft Office 365 and Endpoint Backup) with partner CompuCAD, extending protection across its data center and Mexico City office. The result: backup windows shrank from 3 hours to 15 minutes, restorations that took half a day now take minutes, staff handling backups fell from three people to one, downtime is measured in minutes, and storage needs were reduced thanks to strong compression — enabling more reliable operations and better customer service.
