MCPc, a 45-year-old technology solutions provider ranked #85 on CRN’s Solution Provider 500 with 15 U.S. offices, faced growing pains as customers virtualized their infrastructures. Traditional backup tools adapted from physical servers weren’t meeting the needs of expanding virtual environments, creating critical concerns around VM backups and disaster recovery.

MCPc partnered with Veeam and deployed Veeam Backup & Replication (plus complementary tools like Instant VM Recovery, U-AIR, SureBackup and On-Demand Sandbox), giving customers fast, reliable, image-level backups, granular restores and host-based replication. The results included full backups cut from three days to under an hour, RTOs as low as five minutes, quick file or VM restores (examples under 10 minutes), roughly 5x storage savings from dedupe/compression, automated verification and cost-effective DR using existing storage.
