Although already using Veeam for reliable backups, The Bunker needed a new target market and a new line of business to grow its customer base beyond traditional hosted services.

By using Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Cloud Connect, The Bunker launched Veeam-powered Backup as a Service (BaaS) and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) for on-premises VMs, protecting more than 1,000 VMs (~1 PB). Within five months it converted 80% of its targeted market to paying customers, extended its 24.7.365 availability message to a broader audience, and reduced operational complexity and licensing friction.
