A Veeam Case Study
LAZZEN (Shanghai Liangxin Electrical), a leading provider of smart power solutions, needed uninterrupted 24/7 availability for its automated factories and distributed IT estate. Its hybrid environment (VMware, Nutanix AHV, x86 and AIX servers, SQL/Oracle clusters) and reliance on legacy tape and third‑party backups left it vulnerable to ransomware, lengthy outages, and gaps in data protection and compliance.
After a six‑month evaluation LAZZEN deployed the Veeam Data Platform, which unified backups across VMs and containers without per‑system agents. The solution cut RTOs by about 70% (from four hours to minutes — a 15‑minute automated‑factory recovery), halved storage hardware costs through better compression/dedupe, reduced backup labor, and improved backup visibility and resilience, strengthening business continuity.
