Guardia di Finanza (GdF) is Italy’s specialized military police force under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, responsible for customs, maritime patrols and fighting financial crime. The organization relies on state-of-the-art law enforcement applications and vast volumes of sensitive digital evidence, so any downtime or data loss could delay prosecutions; with a lean IT team and multiple backup tools, GdF needed a unified, highly secure solution to ensure 24/7 availability and protect the chain of evidence.
