Global security leader Prosegur relies on Veeam to keep their services running

Prosegur, a global security leader with 150,000 employees operating in 31 countries, faced the challenge of protecting a rapidly expanding and highly diverse IT estate as it grew through acquisitions. With a mix of local data centers, varied hardware and software, and increasing cloud use (Microsoft 365 and Azure), the company needed a scalable, software-defined backup approach to ensure continuous availability, guard against cyberattacks, and simplify integration of new business units.

Prosegur implemented Veeam (Data Platform Advanced and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365) with guidance from a Veeam Technical Account Manager and partner IPM, and used Veeam ONE to tune performance. The solution provides a single global control point and two-copy backups (on-premises and Azure), enabling fast, granular restores, faster integration of acquisitions, uninterrupted operations, and easier audits.
