Global cinema pioneer Gaumont protects business-critical data with Veeam

Gaumont, the historic French film studio, centralized its IT and moved key applications and databases to an external private cloud but needed to ensure business‑critical non-video data (around 40 VMs and 60 TB of files) was fully protected and recoverable. The studio wanted an enterprise backup platform and a trusted French partner to manage backups and guarantee data residency and rapid recovery.

Gaumont deployed Veeam Availability Suite managed by Jaguar Network, migrating backups to a primary data center with daily-replicated copies in a secondary region (creating an effective air gap). The solution gave Gaumont self‑managed backup policies via Veeam, expert ongoing management from Jaguar Network, and delivered effective asset protection, flexible/fast recovery and real‑time metrics and controls.
