Case Study: Payboost achieves 99.99% hyper-availability and uninterrupted payments with Veeam

A Veeam Case Study

Preview of the Payboost Case Study

Fintech’s Payboost processes payments from more than 500,000 users every year without interruption, thanks to the combined performance of Veeam and HPE

Payboost, a fintech subsidiary of Nova Veolia founded in 2016, provides digital payment collection and the Fastoche budgeting app, serving about 2,500 B2B customers and over 500,000 consumers across three data centers. Processing several hundred million euros annually, the company’s three-person IT team needed automated hyper‑availability and disaster‑recovery to meet financial‑sector backup requirements and a 99.99% service‑continuity SLA.

Payboost built its environment around Veeam integrated with HPE (3PAR, StoreOnce) to protect 13 TB across 18 hosts, 410 VMs and ~50 physical machines, enabling sub‑minute snapshots, a 35‑minute backup window, automated replication and rapid restores (including laptop recovery). The deployment delivered guaranteed hyper‑availability, minimized RTOs, SLA‑compliant maintenance testing, under three hours weekly management, and freed time for new product development.
