Olvi Oyj is a Finnish brewery and soft‑drink company (18.7% market share in Finland) that must keep IT systems available 24x7 for about 250 users. After virtualizing its infrastructure on Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper‑V, the IT team still needed a way to meet internal SLAs by delivering fast, reliable backup and recovery, conserving backup storage and gaining complete visibility into virtual and backup environments.

Olvi deployed Veeam Availability Suite to protect ~20 VMs, using features like Instant VM Recovery, SureBackup automated recoverability testing, deduplication/compression and integrated reporting. As a result backups are 50% faster, recoveries 75% faster, backup files use 50% less storage, and the team can proactively detect issues and meet SLAs with improved RTO/RPO confidence.
