Case Study: Brink's Brazil reduces backup windows and strengthens cyber resilience with Veeam

A Veeam Case Study

Preview of the Brinks Case Study

Brink’s Brazil deploys Veeam to protect business-critical systems and reduce backup windows

Brink’s Brazil, part of the global Brink’s group, operates 80 locations with 10,000 employees across a vast country, providing cash management, secure logistics and payment services. The company struggled with unreliable connectivity and time-consuming tape-based backups that frequently exceeded windows and hindered centralized data protection and audit-ready retention.

By deploying Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Availability Suite (with Veeam ONE) and replacing tape with disk-based storage and WAN-optimized transfers, Brink’s Brazil now protects 500 VMs with encrypted, immutable backups, shortens recovery points from daily to hourly, and gains centralized visibility and reporting. The solution improved business resilience against cyber threats, accelerated backup management, and set the stage for lower-cost long-term archiving via AWS.
