Tiger Wheel & Tyre, a major Southern African wheel and tyre retailer, had virtualized its entire IT estate by 2010 but was still recovering VMs from tape—a process that could take days and risk millions in lost revenue. The IT team needed a fast, reliable backup and recovery solution that could meet aggressive RTOs/RPOs and also support research and development.
