Accura, a Denmark-based international law firm, was backing up its fully virtualized environment with HPE StoreOnce and Veeam but struggled with extremely slow restores — single-file recoveries took 5–10 minutes and full server restores could take one to two months — which prevented the firm from using Veeam features like SureBackup and undermined confidence in backups.

Accura replaced StoreOnce with ExaGrid, whose landing-zone architecture and tight Veeam integration enabled much faster restores (single files ~1 minute, full servers 10–15 minutes), improved deduplication (up to 5:1 on ExaGrid and combined Veeam+ExaGrid ratios of roughly 6:1–10:1), simple scale-out expansion, and replicated offsite DR, giving IT reliable, fast backups and restores.
