The Premier Bank, one of Bangladesh’s leading private sector banks, needed a better way to protect more than 6 TB of mission-critical data across 1,000+ virtual and bare-metal servers as data volumes grew and ransomware threats increased. It turned to Veeam, using Veeam Data Platform and later Veeam Data Cloud Vault, to improve backup and recovery for its always-on digital banking services.

Veeam implemented automated, centralized data protection across the bank’s environment and added immutable, encrypted, air-gapped cloud vault storage for extra cyber resilience. With Veeam, The Premier Bank cut backup management effort by 75%, reduced RTOs by 65%, and can now recover critical systems in as little as 30 minutes, while also lowering storage needs through 50% to 65% data compression.
