Detmold Group, a global manufacturer of sustainable paper and board-based packaging, needed to replace manual and freeware backup tools with a more reliable enterprise data resilience approach. As its operations expanded across on-premises Nutanix clusters and cloud services like Microsoft 365 and Salesforce, the company faced major downtime risk for critical systems and wanted stronger protection. Veeam implemented automated backups and recovery across more than 118 VMs, cloud mailboxes, and Salesforce data, giving Detmold Group a single, easy-to-use platform for backup and restore. The result was fast, dependable recovery within a two-hour RPO/RTO, protection for data growing 10% year-over-year, and quicker onboarding for new staff. In practice, Veeam helped Detmold Group restore a corrupted executive mailbox and recover an ERP database from a backup only 30 minutes old, bringing the system back into production in less than an hour.
