Aussie Broadband, Australia’s fourth-largest retail ISP, needed a more reliable way to protect its increasingly complex IT environment as it grew through organic expansion and acquisitions. Veeam implemented the new solution quickly, with the Kasten control plane deployed in hours and workloads moved within two weeks. The change replaced an unsustainable container backup system in just one month, cut backup time for a major legacy cluster from 12 hours to 8 hours, and simplified regulatory compliance, helping Aussie Broadband better support 780,000+ broadband connections.
