Carrier Global Corporation boosts productivity and gains peace of mind with Veeam

Carrier Corporation, a Fortune 500 leader in HVAC and refrigeration operating in more than 160 countries, needed a more resilient way to protect its mission-critical IT systems. After dealing with fragmented backup tools that made recovery inconsistent and risky, Carrier turned to Veeam and its Veeam Data Platform to unify and secure data protection across its global on-premises environment.

Veeam implemented a centralized backup and recovery solution, along with Veeam Service Provider Console to streamline patching and remediation. As a result, Carrier improved backup success rates from about 84% to over 99%, reduced RTO by around 30%, saved one full-time equivalent per week in administration, and cut costs by moving away from proprietary hardware.
