Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office Uses TargetSolutions to Track Training Hours

Sheriff Wasatch County, a 120‑person agency including sworn officers, search and rescue personnel and volunteers, needed a better way to track POST‑required training (40 hours annually). After finding their previous system only recorded class attendance and forced manual, per‑person checks and duplicate data entry, the agency selected Vector Solutions' TargetSolutions in September 2019 to centralize and simplify training tracking.

Vector Solutions deployed its TargetSolutions platform — using the Manage Credentials feature — so personnel can log classroom and hands‑on hours into a single credential and the system auto‑generates searchable, quarterly reports. This gave Training Director Mitch McKee clear oversight of individual progress, let supervisors intervene before deadlines, streamlined POST reporting, and reduced double‑entry, improving compliance visibility and administrative efficiency.
