Orland Fire Protection District Works to Collaborate with Neighboring Departments through TargetSolutions

Orland Fire Protection District, a 170‑member department in Cook County, Ill., faced the challenge of consistently delivering and tracking mandated training to meet regulatory requirements. To address this, the district turned to Vector Solutions’ TargetSolutions online fire training system—including its Credentials Manager tracking application—to centralize training delivery and recordkeeping across the department.

Vector Solutions implemented the TargetSolutions platform and Credentials Manager to create bundled training packages, assign courses, and produce electronic tracking reports, and Orland is building an enterprise site to share resources with neighboring departments. The solution streamlined training administration, simplified management of credentials and ISO training hours for multiple first‑response teams, and enabled regional standardization and cost savings through shared training and improved interoperability.
