Gannon University, a private Catholic university in Erie, Pennsylvania with nearly 4,500 students, faced an early-semester health challenge when several students reported illness symptoms and others were unsure how to respond to sick roommates. To address these community health concerns, Gannon turned to Vector Solutions and its LiveSafe mobile app to give students a direct way to report symptoms, ask questions, and access COVID-19 guidance.

Using the LiveSafe Mobile App from Vector Solutions, students submitted tips, accessed CDC and campus-specific protocols, and received guidance on next steps; this enabled university staff to quickly understand student concerns and take appropriate action. The solution helped maintain campus health and safety and, as Gannon’s Assistant Director of Police and Safety Jon Habursky put it, “Without [the LiveSafe] app we would not be operational today.”
