Fairfield University, a private Jesuit university in Fairfield, Connecticut with about 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students, needed a reliable way to safely reopen for Fall 2020 by conducting daily COVID‑19 health screenings and ensuring questionnaire data could be processed each day. To meet this challenge, Fairfield partnered with Vector Solutions and implemented the LiveSafe daily health screening solution.

Vector Solutions’ LiveSafe requires students, faculty, staff, and visitors to complete a daily symptom questionnaire and automatically routes "At‑Risk" responses by email to the appropriate departments (student health center, human resources, or public safety). This approach ensured daily processing of screening data, streamlined notification and response workflows across campus, and helped Fairfield’s community feel more prepared to return to campus, classes, and work.
