Enabling Cambridge Public Schools to Succeed with Online Evaluations

Cambridge Public Schools, a diverse urban district serving over 6,500 students, needed to replace a paper-based teacher evaluation system with an intuitive online platform that complied with Massachusetts Department of Education requirements and could be adopted across new and existing schools. To meet that challenge the district selected Vector Solutions’ Vector Evaluations+ (formerly TeachPoint) to provide a mobile-accessible, user-friendly evaluation solution.

Vector Solutions deployed Vector Evaluations+ with customized forms, easy evidence uploads, iPad and computer access, reporting and collaboration features, and hands-on training and support during rollout. As a result, Cambridge Public Schools has improved the timeliness of evaluations, streamlined reporting (including exporting the State EPIMS report), captured goals/evidence/ratings for District-Determined Measures, and increased meaningful feedback and dialogue between teachers and evaluators—outcomes the district attributes to Vector Solutions and its platform.
