District Saves 40 Hours a Year in Meeting Time with Vector Training

Aberdeen School District, serving about 4,500 students and 600 staff across nine schools, faced limited resources and time to deliver and document required safety and compliance training. To address this, the district adopted the Vector Training online training system from Vector Solutions (formerly SafeSchools) in 2014 to move mandatory training online and give staff flexible access.

Vector Solutions delivered Vector Training with a broad course catalog, anytime access, and a Custom Course Tool for district-specific content like the employee handbook. More than 1,000 users have completed over 21,000 courses, most 15–25 minutes long, and Aberdeen estimates a savings of 40 hours per year in meeting time, reduced compensation costs for out-of-school training, easier tracking of federal requirements, and overall increased efficiency and cost savings.
