Case Study: Dartmouth College achieves a safer campus and uncovers hazing and alcohol violations with Vector Solutions' LiveSafe app

Dartmouth College - Customer Case Study

Dartmouth College, a private Ivy League university in Hanover, New Hampshire with about 4,500 undergraduates and more than 160 student organizations, faced underreporting of alcohol and hazing incidents. To give community members an easy, safe (and anonymous) way to report misconduct, Dartmouth partnered with Vector Solutions and implemented the LiveSafe Mobile Application.

Using Vector Solutions’ LiveSafe app, students submitted anonymous tips that external investigators reviewed and then used to conduct independent research; this work identified five Greek houses and two sports teams in violation of college policies. Those findings allowed Dartmouth College to address hazing and alcohol misuse, improving oversight and overall campus safety.
