Shaw Industries Group, a global flooring and surface solutions provider, faced a time-consuming, paper-based onboarding process that required administrative staff to spend two to three days each week managing paperwork and made it difficult to assess performance or assign role-specific curriculum. To address this, Shaw partnered with Vector Solutions and adopted Vector’s Learning Management System (LMS) and SME-created course content.
Vector Solutions implemented an automated LMS with multilingual content, role-based learning paths, competency assessments and observational task lists, enabling real-time feedback and automatic course recommendations. The change reduced manual paperwork (freeing up to 2–3 days of admin time weekly), streamlined assignment and tracking of new-hire curriculum, improved performance tracking and personalized training, and accelerated Shaw Industries’ onboarding efficiency and growth.
