A Vector Software Case Study

Preview of the Aero-Mach Labs Case Study

Aero-Mach Labs uses VectorCAST for DO-178B software testing

Aero‑Mach Labs, a Wichita‑based FAA‑certified repair station and OEM supplier of aircraft instruments and fuel system components, needed to produce certification artifacts for its Cabin Pressure Triple Indicator (CPTI). To meet DO‑178B guidelines, the company required a verifiable testing process demonstrating that the CPTI software was developed to the required safety standards.

Aero‑Mach selected Vector Software’s VectorCAST/C++ with VectorCAST/RSP for the CodeWarrior tool chain to perform unit and integration testing. Using VectorCAST, the team executed module and integration tests and generated the artifacts required to demonstrate compliance with DO‑178B for the CPTI software.
