Weerec Oü, a company in Estonia, needed to efficiently process plastics from household and commercial waste. Their challenge was compounded by the need to quickly commission a new VIZ 1300 T shredder from Vecoplan despite pandemic-related travel restrictions which prevented on-site installation support.

Vecoplan provided a solution using remote support via their Vecoplan Smart Center (VSC). Technicians guided the local electricians through the entire installation and commissioning process using video conferencing and cameras. As a result, the machine was commissioned quickly and at a lower cost, while also providing the customer with the future security of remote expert assistance from Vecoplan.
