Vecoplan provided an overall solution for R Plevin & Sons Ltd., one of the UK's largest wood recyclers, which needed to build a high-performance plant to process waste wood into high-quality fuel chips with a minimal proportion of fine material for a local biomass power plant.

The solution designed and implemented by Vecoplan included a complete, fully automated plant featuring their re shredder with HiTorc-Drive technology for efficiency. The plant successfully processes 150,000 tonnes of waste wood annually into defined fuel chips, exceeding the required output of 60 tonnes per hour while minimizing fines and ensuring the power plant's operational requirements were met.
