The plant breeding company Double H, which supplies supermarkets across England, required a reliable and energy-efficient system to feed coarse waste wood into its Vyncke boiler at a biomass power plant. Their goal was to support their sustainable greenhouse heating with a solution that guaranteed maximum availability and low energy consumption.

Vecoplan implemented a compact storage and conveying system using two Toploader VTL units, drag chain conveyors, and a disc screen. This Vecoplan solution provided a highly reliable and energy-saving method for boiler feeding, ensuring a continuous capacity of one tonne per hour with low maintenance and reduced building costs due to the eliminated need for foundation work.
