The customer, meteocontrol, required a comprehensive monitoring and control solution for a 5MWp solar park in Roanne. The challenge involved managing the entire system, including substation status, while also integrating direct interfaces for both the grid operator and an external aggregator. VCOM provided its blue’Log XC and XM devices to address these needs.

VCOM implemented a solution where the blue’Log XC acted as the power plant controller (PPC), supported by several blue’Log XM devices for complete monitoring. This single system managed setpoints from the grid operator and commands from the aggregator for shutdowns during negative pricing events. All data is processed through the VCOM portal, ensuring full transparency and enabling detailed analysis for the operational solar park.
