The customer, MAW Metallbau-Anlagenbau-Werkstätten GmbH, sought an optimized energy concept combining photovoltaics and battery storage. They worked with vendor VCOM to implement a solution using the blue'Log XC device equipped with Hybrid EMS and Remote Power Control, aiming to increase energy self-sufficiency and stabilize their grid connection.
The solution, implemented by VCOM with a partner, included a pre-wired Power Control Cabinet Plus for efficient installation and the VCOM Cloud for monitoring. The system, featuring 256 kWp of PV and a 215 kWh battery, enables precise feed-in management and direct marketing. The result is a manageable hybrid system that gives the operator central oversight of all energy flows, actively advancing their energy self-sufficiency with stable, long-term operation.
