Seventy Seven Energy, a spin-off oilfield services company with 4,500 employees across 38 offices, needed a simple, scalable print management solution for a greenfield IT environment. Vasion implemented PrinterLogic to centrally manage printers enterprise-wide, allowing Seventy Seven Energy to preconfigure more than 100 MFDs and transition them with a simple IP change. The solution eliminated print servers, simplified printer deployment and administration, and enabled mobile users and guests to print without IT help. As a result, Seventy Seven Energy reported a 50% reduction in print management time, lower upfront infrastructure costs, and fewer printer-related service desk calls.
