Physician Partners of America, a fast-growing multi-state healthcare provider, needed a better way to manage printing across clinics, surgery centers, and corporate offices. As the company expanded through acquisitions and relied heavily on paper-based medical and billing workflows, its server-based print environment became unstable, difficult to standardize, and prone to rogue driver issues that even disrupted EMR access. Vasion’s PrinterLogic serverless print solution was brought in to address these challenges.

Vasion implemented PrinterLogic’s centralized, serverless printing platform with a common driver repository, self-service printer installation portal, centralized admin console, and advanced printer deployment capabilities. The solution standardized drivers, simplified onboarding of new locations, and supported PPOA’s move to RDS and Parallels VDI environments. Results included fewer print-related problems, smoother migrations, faster printer setup, and major time savings for IT and end users—turning printer setup calls from three or four minutes into about 20 seconds and enabling scalable growth across PPOA’s 260-printer fleet.
