NY Therapy Placement Services, Inc. (NYTPS), a 25+-year leader placing clinicians in public and private health sectors, was operating on a legacy Canon imageWare system (40 users scanning ~99% of documents) that became unsupported and ultimately failed. The outage and the system’s limitations prevented Windows upgrades, forced staff to log out of their line-of-business application to view records, and required a manual email/print/scan approval workflow. Vasion was engaged to replace the aging ECM with a modern document management solution using MaxxVault Enterprise.

Vasion migrated all documents and data to MaxxVault, integrated the repository with NYTPS’s line-of-business application, and implemented electronic forms (e-Forms) that auto-populate index fields, perform lookups, create XML records, and trigger workflows; documents are auto-uploaded for review every five minutes.
