EPIC Management, L.P., a Redlands, California–based healthcare management firm supporting 19 independent sites, ~1,500 employees, 200+ physicians and 150,000 patients, faced fragmented print servers, poor visibility into usage and status, and no seamless way to implement secure printing for protected health information. After evaluating options, EPIC chose Vasion and its print-management solution to address these challenges across its distributed, Citrix-heavy environment.

Vasion implemented a centralized, single‑pane admin platform across as many as 300 printers, enabling rapid printer deployment, mass driver updates, SNMP-based status alerts, built‑in reporting and integrated Pull Printing (badge/card release) for secure PHI handling. The Vasion rollout has consolidated and simplified print management, provided comprehensive usage reporting to enable a cost‑plus/charge‑back model, and delivered “massively reduced” management time and overhead while improving responsiveness and uptime (company-wide rollout began in early 2017).
