Strata Information Technology, a managed service provider based in Encino, CA, was struggling with chronic printing problems for customers—especially a 180-person healthcare client whose roaming users experienced unreliable printer deployment and generated up to 100 print-related support tickets per month. Seeking a standardized, scalable print-management solution and better visibility into high color-printing costs, Strata engaged Vasion and deployed the PrinterLogic print-management platform to address driver, deployment and auditing gaps.

Vasion implemented PrinterLogic’s centralized console with Active Directory integration, subnet-specific and terminal-server deployments, driver repository and reporting, plus custom printer profiles to default most users to black-and-white. The results were dramatic: an immediate 50% drop in tickets and, after tuning, an estimated 95% reduction (from ~90–100 tickets to five), savings equivalent to up to half a Level 1 FTE per month, deployment across ten clients/18 locations, near‑zero printer tickets for some customers, and eliminated physical print servers — all delivered by Vasion using PrinterLogic.
