Dialysis Clinic, Inc., a nonprofit medical provider with about 275 clinics and 850 network printers nationwide, faced a fragmented, print-server–based environment that caused frequent Citrix/EMR printing failures, driver incompatibilities, and a heavy support burden that distracted IT from patient-care priorities. To solve this, Dialysis Clinic engaged Vasion and deployed the PrinterLogic centralized print-management solution.

Vasion implemented PrinterLogic to remove on-site print servers, provide a single console for managing printers and drivers, and integrate printing with Citrix and Active Directory; they standardized universal drivers and automated deployments. The result: all 850 printers are now managed centrally, Citrix printing stability was restored, IT travel for printer issues was eliminated, and printer-related support tickets dropped an estimated 90 percent—freeing staff to focus more on patient care.
