A Vasion Case Study
HAMBS Medical Benefits Systems, a member-owned not-for-profit based in Adelaide that delivers its HAMBS application via a large Citrix farm to 25 funds, faced slow, manual and fragmented print management across about 200 distributed printers and multiple Citrix/EDI servers. To address multi-tenant segregation, secure per-customer access and time-consuming provisioning, HAMBS selected Vasion and its centralized print-management solution to simplify and secure printing across its hosted environment.
Vasion deployed a single-pane-of-glass management console that lets HAMBS push printer changes instantly, create fund-specific folders and security roles so clients can safely administer their own printers, and provide a consistent print experience across domains and servers. The Vasion implementation cut repetitive administration, improved responsiveness to clients and saved HAMBS an estimated ten hours per month, while enabling future features such as mobile/pull printing and print auditing for further cost control.
