Vormittag Associates (VAI) needed a seamless way to exchange shipment and order data between its S2K ERP and Varsity ShipSoft to support rate shopping at order entry, shipment visibility, proof-of-delivery, and accurate invoicing. Varsity Logistics addressed this need by integrating its ShipSoft solutions (ShipSoft‑Parcel and ShipSoft‑Freight) with VAI via the VAI Interface/P‑List mapping.

Varsity Logistics implemented a flexible interface that pulls order header, detail, item, customer and shipping instruction data from VAI, processes shipments in ShipSoft, and returns tracking numbers, weights and freight charges to VAI. The integration—runnable in invisible or visible modes on the System i platform—delivers instant shipment visibility, rate shopping at order entry, simplified POD requests and accurate shipping costs for invoicing and analysis, reducing manual steps and supporting tailored supply‑chain workflows.
